At the POLITEKS factory in Riga, socks are knitted, sewn and packed in Latvia. We carefully preserve the technologies, traditions and production experience of the Latvian sock factory “Aurora”.

Knitting technology
Socks are knitted on circular hosiery knitting machines. Depending on the model we use plain, terry or wool knits with the yarn density suited to each design, so socks keep their shape after wear and washing.
Knitting settings are set from the approved sample for every order — so the batch matches the confirmed design in look and size.
Yarns and materials
- OEKO-TEX® cotton — for business and everyday socks.
- Bamboo fibre — for a soft, breathable knit.
- Merino wool — for the cold season.
We select yarn twist and density for each model group; the exact composition is confirmed in the quotation.
Quality control
- Before knitting — incoming yarn lot inspection.
- During production — knit density and size measurements.
- Before packing — finished pairs checked for size, colour and knit.
Quality control happens in our factory in Riga — no transport between countries.
Finishing and packing
After knitting, socks are finished: toe closure, top band and sewing on of your supplied labels. Finished pairs are packed in boxes or retail packaging in your design.
