1. Controller

2. Cookies and local storage

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Only necessary cookies that remember your selected language are used, so no consent notice is shown.

Roboto fonts are hosted locally on politeks.lv. The site does not contact Google Fonts to display them. Cloudflare Turnstile is not configured on the contact forms and its external resources are not loaded.

3. Visit statistics (Umami)

To understand how the website is used and to improve it, we use Umami Cloud, a cookieless analytics tool provided by Umami Software, Inc. acting as our processor. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Umami does not use cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page visited, referrer and campaign parameters, browser, operating system and device type, language and approximate country, as well as events: email or phone link clicks and a successful form submission. The IP address is used only to determine approximate location and is not stored. We see the statistics only in aggregated form. They do not allow us to identify individual visitors and are not used for advertising or profiling.

We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages, uploaded files or other form content to Umami. You can object to this processing by writing to politeks@politeks.lv, or block the script from cloud.umami.is in your browser. See also the Umami Privacy Policy and its list of subprocessors.

Until 14 October 2026, the website used Google Analytics 4 with the consent of visitors. It has been switched off. Previously collected data is retained by Google for no longer than 14 months.

4. Contact forms

When you submit a form, we may receive your name, email address, country, selected sock model, message and optional design or logo files. We use the information to answer the enquiry, prepare a quotation and take steps requested before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Website security, spam prevention and business correspondence may also rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)); legal obligations apply where required (Article 6(1)(c)).

Contact enquiries and attachments are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last communication. If an enquiry results in a contract, invoice or legal claim, the related records may be retained for the applicable statutory period. Access is limited to authorised POLITEKS personnel and providers needed for hosting, email and technical maintenance. We do not sell personal data.

5. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Write to politeks@politeks.lv.
