Smart Textile Research

POLITEKS has participated in smart textile research focused on conductive knitted structures and wearable textile technologies in cooperation with Riga Technical University.

The research explored how conductive yarns and knitted sensor structures could be integrated into textile materials for motion monitoring, gait analysis and plantar pressure measurement.

The publications demonstrate cooperation between textile manufacturing expertise and scientific research in the field of wearable textile technologies.
