Smart Textile Research

POLITEKS participated in the development of smart textiles, focusing on conductive knitted structures and wearable textile technologies, in collaboration with Riga Technical University.

The research explored ways to integrate conductive yarns and knitted sensor structures into socks for movement tracking, gait analysis and foot pressure measurement.
